Pneumatic tire forklifts for heavy-duty lifting
UniCarriers Americas (UCA), Marengo, Ill., launched its new PD6 Series (IC) Pneumatic Tire Forklifts, replacing the outgoing G06 Series.
This new series handles a 13,000- to 22,000-pound capacity range, and includes the addition of 6T low-power and high-power offerings and a 7T low-power model. Under the hood is a Kubota v3800 Tier 4/CARB-compliant diesel engine with improved fuel consumption.
A large LCD panel replaces the G06’s mechanical screen, improving operator feedback. New standard features include wet disc brakes, a dual element air cleaner and a rear-view mirror. All models feature a hydraulic oil cooler for when using big attachments or employing heavy-duty applications.
In addition, the PD6 Series comes equipped with a seat-actuated operator presence system with seatbelt and parking brake warnings and a 5-piece overhead guard that cuts replacement time by 75%. All standard features enhance operator safety and productivity, ensuring maximum forklift uptime.
New optional features include:
- 5-spool valve for increased functionality (Not available on FD100-4 model).
- Increased tire selection.
- LED safety line light.
- High-capacity AC alternator 12V x 115 amp for increased uptime.
- LED lights for energy efficiency.
- Front and rear access-assisted handgrip.
- Pre-cleaner.
