Global cold storage capacity has climbed to 7.73 billion cubic feet, as market leaders maintain dominance and mid-scale operators accelerate share gains.

The Tippmann Group is leading construction of the site.

The Columbus II facility has achieved the globally recognized food safety standard administered by the Safe Quality Food Institute. 

When phase 2 is complete, the facility will cover 467,000 square feet, with over 54,000 pallet positions.

The first phase of IWI Kingman will be home to more than 30,000 pallet positions and 43 dock doors. 

There are 27,000 pallet positions and blast freezing capacity planned for the 198,000-square-foot facility. 

The executive vice president at Tippmann Group / Interstate Warehousing will retire from the refrigerated warehousing and construction industries after a 35-year career.

The building will be home to more than 30,000 pallet positions and will feature turret trucks running in very narrow aisles in order to maximize storage space.
