FCL Builders broke ground on 33,000-square-foot addition that, when complete, will make the facility one of the largest distribution centers in Dot’s supply chain.

The project includes adding 25,000 square feet of warehouse space, 8,500 square feet of cold dock space, nine new dock doors and increased staffing to run the expanded facility. 

The Fruit Pearls brand is expanding exponentially at retail, going national with Walmart, Publix and Meijer in August. 

G.S. Gelato expects to add nearly 30 staff members to support operations.

Beyond Steak is the latest addition to Beyond Meat’s signature beef portfolio, which also includes Beyond Beef, Beyond Burger and Beyond Meatballs.  

The $50.5 million project marks the 13^th distribution center for Dot Foods in the U.S.
