Handy Seafood, America’s oldest seafood processor, has launched a Plant-based Crabless Cake.  

Handy’s Plant-based Crabless Cake aims to satisfy the growing global demand for food that supports a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. Made with responsibly sourced vegan ingredients and has 10 grams of plant-based protein per serving. 

“We’re proud to elevate the category by delivering a savory and delicious plant-based product that consumers crave,” said Lion Gardner, director of product development.

The Plant-Based Crabless Cake is entrée-sized with a crab cake-like texture, made from a proprietary pea and wheat protein blend with a savory Maryland-style flavor complemented with red and green peppers, and onions. 

The product is made in their in Crisfield, Maryland and available in grocery retailers and foodservice distribution nationwide.
