Brinkmann Constructors, a national, full-service general contractor, has joined forces with Ficon Construction, in an effort to broaden its cold storage portfolio and presence in the food and beverage industry. 

Ficon, an acronym for “food industry construction” is a St. Louis-based firm specializing in building solutions for F&B clients.  

Charlie Hirschi, who established Ficon in 1992, has joined the Brinkmann team as executive director of food and beverage. With over 30 years in the industry, Hirschi brings a wealth of experience and a portfolio exceeding 20 million square feet of national cold storage and food industry projects. His leadership will guide Brinkmann's efforts to strengthen its build-to-suit, cold storage, food and beverage and manufacturing capabilities.
