April 18, 2025

Stampede Culinary Partners recently released the results of its 2025 Food Safety Survey — a comprehensive, nationwide study of over 6,200 U.S. consumers, shedding light on how food safety is shaping consumer behavior and brand trust.

Key findings include:

  • 92% of consumers prioritize food safety when selecting restaurants or grocery items.
  • 85% of consumers are willing to pay more for products with enhanced food safety measures.
  • Nearly 60% of respondents have experienced foodborne illness — highlighting rising consumer scrutiny across the supply chain.

The report also explores the impact of food safety on brand partnerships and purchasing decisions, especially in a climate where transparency, sourcing, and food safety practices are under the microscope.

The full report is available for download.
