Guests were able to see live demonstrations of JLS’ hygienic robotic packaging machines. A falconer, who has become popular with the children over the years, also showed off three birds in an homage to the company's machines, which are aptly named after birds of prey.  

The following day, customers and partners, as well as industry and local media joined the JLS team for Founder’s Day. Each year, the company gathers on Founder’s Day to celebrate the establishment of the company. Visitors were able to see machine demonstrations, tour the facility, meet with subject matter experts and ask in-depth questions

A keynote speech was given by Tim Hadding, VP of business relationships at National Beef Packaging Company, who spoke about the strong partnership between the two companies and how JLS has helped National Beef’s business grow.   

“Celebrating our 70th anniversary has been an incredible experience for all of us at JLS, and it was an honor to have our guests join us for another Founder’s Week,” said Craig Souser, president and CEO. “As we look back at the journey we have been on for the last 70 years, we’re even more excited for what’s to come in the next 70.”
