Interstate Warehousing opened the door for another expansion to its Franklin, Ind., cold storage facility. The 140,000-square-foot expansion is already underway, with plans to be completed and operational in July.

The current 428,000-square-foot building was originally completed in 2005 with expansions following in 2008 and 2010. This expansion follows a pair of enhancements to the Cincinnati, Ohio, and Nashville, Tenn., facilities.

“Over the past few years, we have seen solid growth from the customers that we service out of our Franklin facility,” says Chuck Tippmann, president of Tippmann Group/Interstate Warehousing. “In order to keep up with that customer growth, we are continuing to expand our operations in Franklin. We anticipate future growth in the coming years and have a master site plan in place that will allow this facility to expand even further as our customers continue to grow their respective businesses.”
