Albert Lea, Minn.-based pork processor Albert Lea Select Foods said it will spend $1.5 million to expand its pork plant and workforce. The company is an extension of Quality Pork Processors, which is a Hormel Foods Corp. supplier said the addition would bring the total size of the plant to 83,000 square feet.
