Global ingredient supplier Bunge Ltd., White Plains, N.Y., announced to promotions effective January 1, 2010. Carl Hausmann, CEO, Bunge North America, will assume the newly created role of managing director, global government and corporate affairs. Hausmann will coordinate Bunge's global government affairs, corporate sustainability and community relations.
Soren Schroder, vice president, agribusiness for Bunge Europe, will become CEO of Bunge North America. Mr. Schroder will lead all of Bunge's business operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Bosch Packaging Technology, Inc., New Richmond, Wis., said it hired Henk Hoogendoorn as national sales manager for vertical form-fill-seal machinery.
Nutritional ingredient Cognis Group, Cincinnati, said it promoted Gregory Pflum to vice president of its Nutrition & Health business unit in North America replacing David Eckert. Cognis said Eckert is pursuing a career outside of Cognis and will be working closely with Mr. Pflum until year-end to guarantee a seamless transition. Officials said Pflum has 20 years of Cognis experience from manufacturing operations through SBU positions, including his most recent position as chief administrative officer and vice president of supply chain operations.
Food color supplier D.D. Williamson, Louisville, Ky., said it promoted Katie Price to customer support chemist at the company's global support center.
