Garvey will replace Executive Vice President and CFO L.M. (Theo) de Kool, who last December announced his retirement with end of Sara Lee's fiscal year (in June 2009). . .  Fresh and frozen chicken processor Allen Family Foods Inc., Seaford, Del., said it hired industry veteran Bob Turley and president and CEO. Turley had retired in March 2008 as president and chief operating officer at Perdue Farms. He also served as president and general manager at Carolina Turkeys.
