The owner of the infamousPopsiclebrand unveiled its newest creation-Yosicle, a marriage ofPopsiclepops and creamy yogurt.  




Unilever North America, Englewood Cliffs, N.J., owner of the infamousPopsicle brand, unveiled its newest creation-Yosicle,a marriage of Popsicle pops and creamy yogurt.  

"We're always searching for exciting new flavors to present to ourPopsiclefans," says Brian Critz, senior brand manager for Popsicle. "We know families enjoy the tastes of yogurt and Popsicle, so we combined the two flavors to create a unique Popsicle experience that they can share together."

Yosicles come in three unique shapes, contain 10% non-fat yogurt, are an excellent source of calcium per two-pop serving and come in the following varieties:

•    Torpedo! features three flavors in one low-fat, creamy pop: Purple Berry, Watermelon and Vanilla.
•   Layerz!feature two flavors per low-fat pop and are made with flavored ice on the top and creamy yogurt on the bottom. They come in Cotton Candy & Vanilla and Orange & Vanilla kinds.
•    Duos!feature creamy yogurt on the inside with flavored ice on the outside. These low-fat pops have two flavors on each stick and are available in two variety boxes: Watermelon-Vanilla and Cotton Candy-Vanilla or Purple Berry-Vanilla and Cherry-Vanilla.

Yosiclepops can be found in grocery stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.99.

In addition, thePopsiclebrand partnered with theSour Patch Kidsbrand, produced by Kraft Foods, Northfileld, Ill., to bringPopsicle Sour Patch Kidsice pops. Designed to replicate the Sour Then Sweet taste combination, each ice pop contains a sour ice shell and a sweet ice center. They come in single-serve sizes in Lime, Raspberry and Orange flavors.
