New Years eve has come and gone ... but people still enjoy a good party. In fact, success with its party tray line led Hormel Foods, Austin, Minn., to develop the Hormel party ring, a single ring-shaped sandwich that serves approximately eight people.

"This convenient sandwich combines the popular tastes of Hormel pepperoni with slices of provolone cheese on a deliciously crispy baguette," the company says. "Families can simply bake it in the oven for five to seven minutes and then serve at a party or as a quick, weeknight dinner.

Hormel said it began offering the product nationwide last November in grocery stores and supermarkets. The 15-ounce package is merchandised in the deli section with at a suggested retail of about $9.99.
