McCain Foods' latest new frozen potatoes appeal to consumers on several levels.

First, new Purely Potatoes eliminates all the fuss, mess and time associated with potato preparation. Flash frozen and microwaveable, Purely Potatoes offer the ultimate in convenience, says McCain Foods, Lisle, Ill. Secondly, these 100-percent all natural products do not contain artificial flavors or artificial colors.

Says McCain, "Purely Potatoes have the same great taste and nutrition as fresh potatoes and can be prepared in a fraction of the time it takes to wash, peel, cut or slice fresh potatoes.  And, there’s no mess to clean up."

Not only can they be mashed, roasted, sautéed or used just as they are, but Purely Potatoes can be included in other creative dishes such as Fish en Papillote, Potato Spice Cake or Spanish Potato Frittata, the company says. 

McCain Purely Potatoes come in two varieties: skin-on premium Whole Baby Potatoes in a 22-ounce bag; and peeled premium Russet Potato Slices in a 24-ounce bag. McCain Purely Potatoes are available nationwide at supermarkets at a suggested retail price of $2.99 - $3.99.
