Gluten-Free Corn Dogs
Applegate, Bridgewater, N.J., is giving the fair-favorite corn dog a fall makeover.
Applegate Natural gluten-free corn dogs now feature fewer calories, less fat and sodium and no gluten, encased in an all-natural beef hot dog with a sweet crust made of corn meal, corn and rice flour.
Applegate corn dogs boast 180 calories, 8 grams of fat and 410 milligrams of sodium per serving.
“A corn dog is an iconic American treat and now everyone—even those with gluten intolerances—can enjoy a better version of this quintessential classic,” says Chris Ely, co-founder and farmer liaison. “With Applegate Naturals Gluten-Free Corn Dogs, families can enjoy the county or state fair experience right in their own backyards, without the guilt.”
These corn dogs are available in freezer cases of natural food stores and conventional supermarkets for a suggested retail price of $5.99 for a 10-ounce box.
