Dynamic Energy, DiCarlo Distributors Complete Solar Project
Dynamic Energy Solutions, LLC, Wayne, Pa., completed the construction on a 904.2kW solar project for DiCarlo Distributors, Inc., Holtsville, N.Y. The solar project is said to be one of the largest roof-mounted solar arrays in Long Island and participates in the LIPA Clean Solar Initiative Feed-In Tariff (FIT) Program. Dynamic Energy provided full turnkey services, including engineering, procurement and construction.
DiCarlo's PV system involved the installation of a roof-mounted ballasted array consisting of more than 3,000 solar panels. With an anticipated annual production of 1,113,000 kWh, the solar system will effectively eliminate 785 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year.
"We were delighted to work with Dynamic Energy in the planning and implementation of our solar energy project, which will provide years of benefit to our environment," says John DiCarlo Sr., chief operating officer. "We have made many improvements to be 'green' in recent years, but this project far outweighs all of the others combined. [It’s] just another reason why 'DiCarlo Blue is the new Green.'"
