SHRINK FILM FOR BEVERAGES
Bemis Performance Packaging launched Bemis TITAN brand beverage shrink films and shrink labels. Designed to enhance beverage packaging quality, efficiency and brand appeal using Bemis’s advanced polyethylene shrink technology, the films create vibrant, sustainable shrink multi-packs that replace corrugate, paperboard or plastic rings, while the colorful, form-fitting labels deliver brand advantage for everything from uniform rounds to contoured shapes. The shrink films are said to reduce material weight by 50% and decrease packaging costs up to 30% compared to paperboard.

TWO-LID PACKAGING
Clear Lam Packaging introduced a two-lid system for PrimaPak technology. This new rollstock for snap-apart multipack products delivers closure systems that are intuitive and easy to open and close for multi-serve occasions. The new styles include: Peel and ReSeal—which opens easily and reseals itself to the package with a light touch for select fresh cut produce, dried fruits, nuts and other food products with little to no particulates—and Formed Semi-Rigid Snap Lid—which creates a hinged lid that snaps down tight when resealed. Applications include fresh cut produce, salad toppings, powders and spices.
