ROSS CONTROLS, Troy, Mich., introduced a new stainless-steel L-O-X energy isolation valve for applications where corrosion or contaminants are of concern. Ross Controls LOX valve

The valve maintains the L-O-X performance and easy-to-identify shape, while providing a new corrosion-resistant stainless-steel construction. The valve is lockable only in the OFF position (with a tamper-proof locking mechanism) and has a large exhaust port for rapid pressure relief. Plus, it’s easy to operate and provides direct manual operation via a push/pull of the handle.

Furthermore, the L-O-X valve comes standard with a pressure sensing port, which allows the optional installation of a pop-up indicator or pressure switch. These options are designed to provide a visual indication that pressure to the next downstream obstruction has been released. And, it meets OSHA, ANSI and CSA standards.
