Eriez Doubles Manufacturing Space for Metal Detection Product Line
Eriez announced plans to double manufacturing space at its Eriez, Pa., headquarters for its metal detection production line. 
“Our sales for the new Xtreme metal detector have exceeded our forecast, and we have decided to double our manufacturing capacity this summer,” says Tim Shuttleworth, president and CEO. “This will shorten lead times and help meet the growing demand in the food, plastics and other processing industries. Plans include expanding the footprint for our plant as well as dedicating a significant amount of space to metal detection.”
Made for light industry applications, including chemical, food processing, packaging, textiles, pharmaceuticals, plastics and rubber, the Xtreme metal detector boasts a redesigned and user-friendly interface. Other highlights include full QWERTY keyboard, robust auto set-up, dedicated reject log and vivid display.
