Conveyor System for Metal Detection Lines
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., Waltham, Mass., launched the Quickfit conveyor, a new conveyor system for metal detectors designed to improve reliability and decrease 
maintenance for dairy, meat, poultry, seafood, snacks, bakery and prepared foods processors.
Engineered to integrate seamlessly with Thermo ScientificAPEX metal detectors, each Quickfit unit uses common components to reduce total ownership costs over the typical 10-plus-year metal detector conveyor lifetime.
It features a wide range of belt widths, conveyor lengths and heights as well as fixed- or variable-speed operations to meet line specifications/preferences. Its rugged stainless-steel construction features IP66 washdown ratings to meet demanding sanitation requirements and is fully configured and tested for quality assurance and performance.
