Hench Control, Inc., Richmond, Calif., formed a joint venture to create Hench Control B.V. based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The joint venture is a partnership between Hench Control, Inc. and Holders Equity B.V., a Dutch management and holding company. Hench Control, B.V. will manage the European operations and represent, market, sell and support the energy management system products and services of Hench Control throughout the European market area.

Hench Control B.V. will be led by Jim Carr as its managing director.

“We are extremely excited to have Jim as part of the team to expand the reach of Hench Control in the European market,” says Matt Chang, vice president of sales and marketing. “We have wanted to support Europe with our products and services for years, but prior to now, have not had the infrastructure in place to execute on that initiative. This joint venture allows us to have the physical presence necessary in order to provide the proper support to be successful in Europe.”
