Michael Angelo’s Gourmet Foods, Austin, Texas, launched a new Made with Organic line of meals that includes more than 70% organic ingredients.

“When you take one of our Made with Organic meals home, you can be proud of your dining choices; there are no preservatives, no additives or fillers, just clean, real ingredients. It's real cooking and real food,” says Michael Angelo Renna, founder and CEO. “Upgrading the already natural entrée line to QAI-certified ‘Made with Organic’ was the next step in the Michael Angelo’s commitment to providing consumers with great taste paired with nutrition.”

Just like every Michael Angelo’s meal, each of the new Made with Organic meals are comprised of 100% real ingredients and certified by Quality Assurance International (QAI). Key ingredients include butter, cream, honey and vegetables such as eggplant, mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, kale, squash and zucchini, as well as grass-fed beef and chicken and turkey raised without antibiotics.

“It's not how other companies do it, but that's how we've always done it, and it's the reason we’ve never needed to defend the nutritional reputation of our products,” says Renna. “We don’t have to add all those other things that fake flavor and texture and fill up the side of the box with ingredients that nobody understands. We just focus on wholesome nutrition and real, delicious ingredients to make our meals the old-fashioned way.”
