Universal Trolley Equipped with Motorized Units
Columbus McKinnon Corp. (CMCO), Amherst, N.Y., expanded its CM Universal Trolley to include new motorized units.
How it works is, a single trolley can be used with virtually all CMCO-powered chain hoists up to 3-ton capacities. This reduces the need to have multiple types of trolleys in inventory, thus alleviating stock constraints at distributorships.
Motorized universal trolley units are well suited for applications requiring high cycling or long-distance hoist travel, and are available in traverse speeds of 15, 35 and 75 FPM.
Features include an easy-access control box that allows the entire cover to be removed for quick access to key components, an electrical panel to be used as a tool tray to hold items when repairing or servicing the hoist, wrap-around side plates, drop lugs and pinned suspension bolts for increased operator safety and zinc-plated components for protection against wear and corrosion.
