Bunzl Distribution, St. Louis, Mo., moved to a 148,000-square-foot distribution center located in the Orchard Business Park at 1510 Bartlett Drive in York, Pa. The new facility is 32,000 square feet larger than the branch’s former 19-year home at 580 Davies Drive.

“We’re excited to serve our customers from our new facility,” says Bob Plata, York general manager. “Not only are we conveniently located near Route 83 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike, but we [also] have more room to grow as our customers grow.”

Bunzl York’s 65 employees serve customers in the grocery, retail, food processor, convenience store and airline industries throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

“Over the years, we’ve developed strong relationships with our customers, and we’re honored to have been a part of their business growth here in Eastern Pennsylvania and beyond,” adds Plata. “Now that we have additional capacity, we look forward to developing new programs that will continue to drive their businesses forward.
