Cuisine Innovations obtains new parent company
A newly created entity, Cuisine Innovations Unlimited, LLC (CIU), acquired Cuisine Innovations, LLC, Lakewood, N.J., and its subsidiaries. CIU is wholly owned and operated by the same group that owns The Fillo Factory, a dough producer based in Northvale, N.J. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Cuisine Innovations Unlimited is a value-added manufacturer of premium hors d’oeuvres, kosher specialty items, frozen value-added seafood and veggie burgers, while The Fillo Factory is a supplier of premium quality Fillo dough and shells, frozen gourmet hors d’oeuvres and center-of-the-plate solutions. The combined manufacturing synergies of these two organizations will provide organic, gluten-free, kosher, natural and conventional branded and private label products for all market channels.
Ron Rexroth, owner and CEO of The Fillo Factory, will become chief executive officer of Cuisine Innovations Unlimited. Both organizations will utilize the strengths of their manufacturing facilities, R&D capabilities and sales force to further enhance their industry position as the “one-stop-shop” for all premium hors d’ oeuvres, seafood, center-of-the-plate and dessert items.
