Atlas Copco completes Leybold Vacuum acquisition
Leybold, headquartered in Cologne, Germany, manufactures vacuum pumps, systems and standardized and customized vacuum solutions and services for various industries.
Atlas Copco, Sweden, completed the acquisition of Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum GmbH, effective Sept. 1. As a result, Leybold becomes a part of the vacuum solutions division under the compressor technique unit, with approximately 6,500 employees in over 35 countries.
