Nelson-Jameson announces plans for new facility in Texas
The new 4-acre, 25,000-square-foot facility will feature three finished docks and two unfinished dock openings to allow for future growth.
With their current Dumas, Texas, facility nearing full capacity, Nelson-Jameson, Marshfield, Wis., announced plans to build a new warehouse in Amarillo, Texas. This new location will improve operations and customer service, and will be located closer to major LTL carriers and small parcel shipping hubs. It is targeted for completion in February 2017.
The new 4-acre, 25,000-square-foot facility will feature three finished docks and two unfinished dock openings to allow for future growth. The 1,800-square-foot office space will consist of offices, cubical space, a conference room and break room.
Warehouse space will boast high-cube space storage system with 750,000 cubic feet of storage area and the capacity to hold 224 pallets of refrigerated product.
