SumoGlove names BWS Industrial Services East Coast distributor of forklift safety equipment
BWS ISI will be responsible for growing sales of the Sumo Glove brand of lift truck fork attachments in an area that stretches from the Canadian border in the north to the Florida coast in the south of the United States.
SumoGlove International Ltd., the UK-based producer of forklift safety equipment, appointed BWS Industrial Services Inc. (BWS ISI), New Berlinville, Pa., as its distribution partner for the East Coast.
BWS ISI will be responsible for growing sales of the Sumo Glove brand of lift truck fork attachments in an area that stretches from the Canadian border in the north to the Florida coast in the south of the United States.
“We are delighted to be working with BWS ISI, and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship between our two businesses,” says Simon Ross, Sumo’s principal.
“As soon as I saw the Sumo Glove, its potential to reduce stock damage and improve the safety of warehouse and distribution center personnel was obvious,” adds William Williams, owner and president of BWS ISI. “We believe that our customers will respond positively to the benefits that the product brings to any materials handling process where forklifts play a role.”
Sumo Gloves are fitted to the tips of a lift truck’s forks to provide a protective cover that limits the impact of a carelessly driven forklift against a load.
