Greenyard Logistics USA, Logan Township, N.J., opened the doors to its new state-of-the-art logistics facility in Swedesboro, N.J. The 152,200-square-foot facility is strategically positioned within close proximity of the Northeastern ports and marks the first U.S. building and expansion by Belgium-based parent company Greenyard.

“We are excited to officially inaugurate this facility and celebrate its opening with all those who made this expansion possible,” says Mayda Sotomayor, managing director of Greenyard Logistics USA. “This expansion demonstrates our commitment to growth and better serving our customers.”

“I am very proud that we were able to open this new facility in New Jersey,” says Marleen Vaesen, chief executive officer of Greenyard. “The U.S. is a market of strategic importance for the group where we want to achieve growth, and opening this distribution center is a clear milestone in our growth plans.”

Highlights of the facility include 8,000 pallet positions, 30 dock doors and high-capacity packing lines carrying summer citrus product from Greenyard Logistics’ sister company Seald Sweet.
