Cold-pressed smoothies

Once Upon a Farm Smoothie Pouch Berry
April 4, 2018

Once Upon a Farm, Berkeley, Calif., debuted Storybook Super Smoothies to its refrigerated brand of cold-pressed baby food and applesauce pouches.

“Adding smoothies to our growing portfolio of organic, cold-pressed foods is a meaningful step toward our mission to bring fresh to the entire family,” says Jennifer Garner, co-founder and chief brand officer. “As a mom filling lunch boxes every day, I couldn’t be more excited.”

The certified-organic Storybook Super Smoothies are packaged in mess-free, BPA-free pouches for easy handling and transport. Available in Strawberry Banana Swirl, Berry Berry Quite Contrary and Appley Eating Greens, each smoothie is cold-pressed to lock in flavor and nutrients from its farm-fresh ingredients, including fresh fruits, veggies, grains, seeds and coconut milk.

“Our Storybook Super Smoothies are formulated with an understanding of proper nutrition for developing children, which is key to our brand’s DNA,” says Cassandra Curtis, co-founder and chief innovation officer.

The new line will be available at retailers nationwide beginning in June.
