On the heels of the launch of its new Fort Valley, Ga., greenhouse project, Pure Flavor, Canada, announced plans to expand its family of Canadian organic greenhouse growers with a new culinary line of products under its Craft House Collection for both retail and foodservice channels.

“We are extending our reach every season by adding to our family of growers in strategic regions throughout North America. Increased demand for our organics program has prompted us to expand our Canadian organic product offering,” says Jamie Moracci, president.

“For those who really like to cook and get creative in the kitchen, the Craft House Collection is exactly what you are looking for,” adds Matt Mastronardi, executive vice president. “Grown with a passion for premium vegetables, the Pure Flavor Craft House Collection was created for the chef in you. The exceptional selection of fresh, greenhouse-grown veggies allow the flavors to shine in simple yet memorable recipes.”

Pure Flavor partnered with six different restaurants to develop the Craft House Collection product line with the goal of creating experiences that were not only unique, but allowed consumers to enjoy vegetables that were destined to be part of great eating experiences.

“The first two items to be featured in the collection are our Mini San Marzano Tomatoes and Aurora Long Sweet Peppers; both items are not only great for snacking, but are cooking items with unique flavors and textures that you rarely discover. They really are the best of the grill, bake, stuff and sauté worlds,” says Mastronardi.
