The cold storage provider has formally changed its brand name from Lineage Logistics to Lineage.

Lineage’s North and Southbound cross-border program enables both TL (truckload) and LTL (less-than-truckload) shipments between the U.S. and Canada, while connecting shippers to the company’s strategically located warehouses that comprise its North American LTL multi-vendor consolidation network. 

Expected to be finished this fall, the facility will span approximately 386,000 square feet and include 85,000 pallet positions.

Lineage selected the 2023 winners from the U.S. and Canada based on a list of criteria around performance, using quantitative and qualitative data to support the selection process. 

 With a focus on customer-centric solutions, the site expects to offer integrated solutions such as freight forwarding and value-added services.

Academic research concludes that raising the standard storage temperature of most frozen food by just 3 degrees Celsius to -15 degrees could make a significant environmental impact.

The site features over 3 million cubic feet of space and more than 16,000 pallet positions. 

Following the completion of the expansion, the Foothills facility is expected to span approximately 200,000 square feet, hold over 24,000 pallet positions, and serve as a center of excellence for export. 

As the premier U.S. gateway for trans-Pacific trade, the Port of Long Beach handles $200 billion in trade annually, including beef, pork, citrus fruits, grapes, stone fruit and cheese.

Spanning approximately 315,000 square feet, the new facility marks the sixth location in Lineage’s Greater Houston network.
