Pinnacle Foods Group LLC, Mountain Lakes, N.J., said it hired kirshenbaum bond senecal & partners, New York, N.Y., to handle creative duties for the Birds Eye Frozen Division.
The Associated Press reported that Pinnacle Foods, Cherry Hill, N.J., plans this July to close the Rochester, N.Y., corporate offices of Birds Eye, which Pinnacle acquired last December.
Pinnacle Foods Group LLC, Mountain Lakes, N.J., said it completed its $1.3 billion purchase of Birds Eye Foods Inc. from a holding company controlled by Vestar Capital Partners.
Birds Eye Foods' primary fruit and vegetable supplier Pro-Fac Cooperative, Inc., Fairport, N.Y., said it received a distribution of approximately $238 million from Birds Eye Holdings, LLC upon the closing of the sale of Birds Eye Foods, Inc. to the Pinnacle Foods Group.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Pinnacle Foods Group LLC, Mountain Lakes, N.J., agreed to purchase the nation's largest frozen vegetable processor, Birds Eye Foods, Rochester, N.Y., for $1.3 billion.
