Doughty was the immediate past chairman of the National Turkey Federation (NTF) and the president and CEO of Butterball until his departure from the company in December 2018.

The 2019 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) surpassed 600,000 square feet of exhibit space and broke records with 33,000 registrants and 1,420 exhibitors at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta Feb. 12-14.
