The snack food company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the flash-frozen beaded ice cream brand for $222 million.

The assets include inventory, equipment, a sublease for a portion of a manufacturing facility in Yuma, Arizona, and a lease for a warehouse facility in San Luis, Arizona.

Combined, the facilities offer 12 million cubic feet of storage. 

The acquisition expands Kari-Out’s focus on paper packaging and complements the company’s vast import network with new domestic production.
