Mars has signed an agreement to acquire Trü Frü, a high-growth, better-for-you, whole-fruit snacking brand from its founders and management team.

Caltabiano will oversee the management of Del Monte Foods' financial organization and report to Parag Sachdeva, chief operations officer (COO).

 The 200,000-square-foot facility will have the capacity to produce 10,000 metric tons of cultivated meat. 

Neil Russell has been appointed interim CFO.
