As remote monitoring devices and other technologies continue to evolve, so too will integrated pest management, as it becomes even more reactive to the pest pressures facilities face, finding ways to exclude pests even before they enter.

Just as prevention is considered a cornerstone of the food safety plan, inspections are a cornerstone of achieving the goal of preventive pest management.
