J&J Snack Foods today announced that following a 23-year tenure with the company, Bob Pape, SVP of Sales, will retire effective Jan. 3.
Pape has spent 40 years in the food industry, providing exceptional leadership and results. During his tenure at JJSF, he served in various roles, including national sales manager of retail where he worked with his team to grow popular brands like SUPERPRETZEL and LUIGI’s Italian Ice. As vice president of retail and senior vice president of sales and marketing, he helped oversee the integration and acquisition of new and exciting brands to grow the J&J Snack Foods portfolio, including Whole Fruit, Dogsters and ICEE novelty products.
Known widely for his impact in the sales organization, Pape led the “go to market” strategy for the retail, foodservice and bakery divisions, helping to ‘serve up fun’ to the masses. His dedication and leadership will be greatly missed by colleagues and company leaders.
