Love it or Hate it, Jeni’s Everything Bagel Ice Cream is Back

everythingbageljenis.jpg
March 2, 2022

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams announced the return of its most polarizing flavor to date – Everything Bagel. Originally launched in January, 2021, this savory, garlicky, buttery ice cream sparked an unexpected debate among ice cream lovers. The flavor quickly became headline news and sold out in record time, leaving thousands of people waiting for its return. While the idea of the flavor was met with varying reviews of both overwhelming adoration and vehement opposition, one thing everyone agreed on was that it tasted exactly like an Everything Bagel.

Always leading with innovation, Jeni’s is no stranger to unique flavor combinations and has been exploring the flavor for years. The everything bagel gravel is a buttery streusel of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion, and garlic that’s made from scratch in Jeni’s Columbus kitchen. The gravel recipe was originally featured in her book and later came to life as a beloved topping option in Jeni’s scoop shops. Folding it into sweetened cream cheese ice cream was a delicious and natural next step that strikes the perfect salty-sweet-umami balance of a classic everything bagel.

With its re-release, Jeni’s invites ice cream fans to once again make their taste buds heard. Everything Bagel is back for a limited-time-only beginning on March 21.
