FreezPak Logistics, a leading third party (3PL) food logistics company, announced a seventh location coming to Miami, Florida, in December.

Miami will offer cooler/frozen temperature-controlled rooms in a 315,000-suare-foot building that sits on 20 acres. The building features 207 car parking spaces, 50 trailer parking stalls, 48 dock doors and 51,000 pallet positions. The property’s prime location, just south of the Miami-Dade and Broward County line, offers easy access to Florida’s major transportation arteries including the Florida Turnpike, I-75, State Road 826, Port Everglades Terminal and Port of Miami.

The Miami location marks FreezPak’s fourth new location announcement in under two years and will increase FreezPak’s capacity to 60 million cubic feet of space.

“FreezPak is excited to have a presence in South Florida. We are planning to be in every major port and the Miami site helps us achieve that goal.” said Dave Saoud, Co-CEO of FreezPak.

A family-owned business with headquarters in Carteret, New Jersey, FreezPak has been providing customized distribution services since its founding in 2001.  Consistent with FreezPak’s other facilities, the Miami location will offer overseas container plug, cross docking, port drayage, LTL/FTL transportation, dedicated fleets, repacking, same day orders, USDA, FSIS and FDA services.

The company currently operates five world-class facilities across New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pennslvania. FreezPak is slated to open up a sixth location, a 58,000 pallet freezer near the port of NJ/NY in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The company plans to announce an eighth location soon.
