Deep Indian Kitchen Adds 3 Kati Street Wraps, Butter Paneer Entrée

Deep Indian Kitchen is expanding its award-winning lineup with four bold, flavor-packed additions: three Kati Street Wraps and a vegetarian entrée, Butter Paneer.
Deep Indian Kitchen, the fastest-selling brand in natural frozen entrées, available in over 22,000 stores nationwide, is expanding its award-winning Kati Street Wrap line with three new varieties: Coconut Chicken Curry, Chicken Biryani and Matar Paneer. The brand is also launching a vegetarian Butter Paneer entrée, continuing its mission to bring rich, restaurant-quality Indian flavors to more households across the country. These latest innovations follow the successful debut of Deep Indian Kitchen’s Momo Dumplings in February. The new offerings are rolling out at major retailers, including Target, Sprouts, Stop & Shop, Hannaford, Giant and Giant Eagle.
“Our Kati Street Wraps have experienced strong momentum since launch, with consumers responding to their bold, authentic flavors and convenient format,” said Kiernan Laughlin, general manager of Deep Indian Kitchen. “As interest in global cuisine continues to grow, we’re proud to expand the lineup with new varieties like Coconut Chicken Curry – one of the fastest-growing Indian flavors in retail. These additions reflect our commitment to making premium, authentic Indian food more accessible, offering consumers a convenient and flavorful way to explore global flavors at home.”
Deep Indian Kitchen first introduced its Kati Street Wraps in February 2024, bringing the bold taste and satisfying crunch of Indian street food to freezers nationwide. Each wrap starts with flaky, handmade Paratha bread crafted in India and is then filled with flavor-packed ingredients made from real spices, vegetables and proteins. Ready in just two minutes, each wrap includes a crisping sleeve that replicates the street cart texture and experience – golden and crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful on the inside. Free from artificial flavors and preservatives, the Kati Street Wraps offer a convenient, craveable option for lunch, a snack or even a late-night bite.
The Kati Street Wraps have garnered significant industry recognition since their launch, earning a PEOPLE 2024 Food Award, a Food Network 2024 Supermarket Award, The Kitchn’s 2024 Grocery Essentials and Progressive Grocer’s 2024 Editors’ Picks Award.
Also joining the lineup is Deep Indian Kitchen’s new vegetarian entrée, Butter Paneer, which was crafted in response to strong consumer demand for one of the most popular Indian flavors. With 65% of Indian frozen meal buyers expressing interest in Butter Paneer and “butter” ranked as the second-most sought-after Indian flavor, this launch brings a highly anticipated dish to freezers nationwide. The entrée features a rich Butter Masala sauce, which is slowly simmered with freshly ground spices, tomatoes and vegetables for a deep, layered flavor. It’s paired with generous cubes of paneer cheese, which is made from scratch in the brand’s dairy facility in upstate New York, delivering exceptional texture and taste.
About Deep Indian Kitchen
The Deep Indian Kitchen brand was created and launched in 2019. It is owned by Deep Foods Inc., the three-generation Indian-American family company that has been the largest manufacturer of Indian food for the Indian-American community since 1977. True to the “deep” name, which symbolizes “enlightenment” in India, the brand was created to help all Americans learn more about India by elevating and expanding access to modern, high-quality Indian food, as well as guiding them through the cuisine’s vast culinary experiences. Deep Indian Kitchen has quickly become one of the fastest-growing food brands in the U.S. Its deeply flavorful, ready-in-minutes meals, breads and appetizers are currently available in the frozen section of more than 22,000 stores nationwide and at its fast-casual Deep Indian Kitchen restaurant in New Jersey. Deep Indian Kitchen’s roots in enlightenment extend to its mission to share the best of Indian culture through food that not only tastes good, but also does good. Every purchase of Deep Indian Kitchen’s products benefits the Deepkiran Foundation, a company-founded charitable organization that helps provide access to education for underprivileged children in rural India.
