QAD Redzone Acquires Kavida AI

Cold Chain Ops
R&FF
November 18, 2025

QAD Inc., the company transforming manufacturing and supply chains with intelligent, adaptive solutions, reached an agreement to acquire Kavida Technologies Ltd (t/a Kavida.ai), a pioneer in agentic AI for industrial companies.

The move fast-tracks QAD’s Champion AI roadmap and introduces immediate, high-impact automation for manufacturers — promising to free up nearly half of a buyer’s workday by eliminating manual post-order and supplier-collaboration tasks. The closing of the transaction is subject to UK regulatory approval.

Kavida.ai’s powerful procurement agents immediately strengthen the Champion AI platform with live, high-value use cases in strategic sourcing and ERP automation, giving manufacturers faster access to measurable productivity gains.

“Manufacturers don’t have time to wait for AI to mature — they need results today,” said Sanjay Brahmawar, CEO of QAD | Redzone. “By integrating Kavida.ai’s technology and team, we’re helping our customers unlock value faster — automating critical workflows, improving supply-chain reliability, and giving every buyer, planner, and supplier a powerful digital co-pilot. This isn’t about adding another AI feature, it’s about redefining how manufacturing work gets done.”

The acquisition brings QAD | Redzone a world-class AI engineering team with deep expertise in agent safety, human-in-the-loop training, and unstructured data handling. Kavida.ai’s intellectual property around procurement agent training and inbox-to-ERP automation will serve as the foundation for new agentic use cases across QAD’s solutions.

“We built Kavida.ai to solve one of manufacturing’s most painful problems — the friction between supplier collaboration and enterprise systems,” said Anam Rahman, CEO and co-founder of Kavida.ai. “Joining QAD | Redzone allows us to scale that vision globally." Dr. Sumit Sinha, CTO and Co-Founder of Kavida.ai, adds: “Together we’ll accelerate the Champion AI roadmap and deliver agents that make manufacturers faster, smarter, and more adaptive.”
