February 16, 2026

Synear Foods USA, a global leader in authentic frozen Asian cuisine, announced global distribution of its fan-favorite Panda Buns.

Arriving just in time for the Lunar New Year, these iconic treats are now entering more than 700 Costco warehouses in Canada and the U.S with Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Mainland China and more regions to follow.

This expansion marks a significant step in Synear’s mission to bring high-quality, authentic and innovative meals to a global audience. Each bun features a charming panda design made from soft dough using traditional Chinese fermentation methods and is filled with a rich, smooth, and creamy custard.

As the only Chinese legacy frozen food brand to successfully break into the aisles of Costco, Synear Foods is uniquely positioned to meet the surging international demand for Asian flavors. This global rollout follows the brand's successful regional U.S. launch of the Panda Buns in January, 2025 and Pork Soup Dumpling launch in 2024.

“Synear’s specialty lies in pioneering the intersection of traditional Chinese roots and the evolving flavors modern consumers crave,” said Judy Zhu, CEO of Synear Foods USA. “We aren't just meeting demand; we are innovating the 'at-home' experience, offering vibrant Chinese flavors in unique formats that bridge the gap between ancient tradition and the modern palate.”

The custard-filled Panda Buns are designed for modern convenience without sacrificing quality. They can be steamed in just 12 minutes or microwaved for 60 to 120 seconds.
