FreezPak Logistics Opens New Boston Cold Storage Site

Boston cold storage.
FreezPak

Located at 1151 Innovation Way, Fall River, Massachusetts, the Boston facility is one of the most ambitious cold storage developments in FreezPak’s history.

March 13, 2026

FreezPak Logistics, a national leader in temperature-controlled logistics solutions, proudly announces the opening of its new state-of-the-art facility in Fall River, Massachusetts, serving the greater Boston area and all of New England.

This Northeast expansion marks a pivotal milestone in FreezPak’s strategic mission to build a fully connected, coast-to-coast network of world-class cold storage facilities.

Located at 1151 Innovation Way, Fall River, Massachusetts, the Boston facility is one of the most ambitious cold storage developments in FreezPak’s history.

The facility offers up to 12,789,000 cubic feet of temperature-controlled capacity, designed to meet the rapidly growing demand for cold chain infrastructure across New England and the broader Northeast corridor.

The Fall River facility offers the full suite of services that FreezPak customers depend on, including cold storage, container plugin, crossdocking, container unloading, transportation, repacking, ecommerce fulfillment, customs bonded services and USDA/FSIS inspections all under one roof.

Strategically positioned in the heart of southeastern Massachusetts, the Fall River location provides outstanding access to the Port as well as major highway corridors connecting Boston, Providence and beyond. This prime positioning strengthens FreezPak’s ability to deliver efficient import/export solutions and seamless supply chain support across industries including food distribution, pharmaceuticals, seafood and other perishable goods.

With this latest addition, FreezPak continues to expand its national footprint across key U.S. markets. The Boston facility joins a growing network of strategically located facilities including recent openings in Jacksonville, Florida, and Los Angeles, California, as well as locations in Chicago, Illinois, Houston, Texas, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Suffolk, Virginia, and multiple New Jersey sites.
