MAG Capital Partners Acquires 2 Indy Cold Storage Sites from FreshEdge

Situated along Interstate 70, the 13.12-acre Indianapolis headquarters facility at 4501 Massachusetts Avenue features 23-foot to 34-foot clear height, 39 dock doors and one drive-in door.
MAG Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of two temperature-controlled properties from FreshEdge, a leading distributor of customized fresh food solutions, in a sale-leaseback-structured transaction that includes its 104,114-square-foot HQ in Indianapolis.
Situated along Interstate 70, the 13.12-acre Indianapolis headquarters facility at 4501 Massachusetts Avenue features 23-foot to 34-foot clear height, 39 dock doors and one drive-in door.
Minutes from I-465, the firm purchased 5930 West 82nd Street, a 28,800-square-foot, 3.39-acre warehouse with 21-foot clear height and four drive-in doors.
“We often invest in the food distribution sector and cold storage is among the core categories within our diverse industrial real estate portfolio,” said Dax T.S. Mitchell, principal, MAG Capital Partners.
The company also acquired a 425,000-manufacturing campus in the greater Indianapolis region earlier this year, in addition to a 158,484-square-foot specialty food processing facility in the Cleveland metro area in a sale-leaseback transaction with Produce Packaging, Inc. (PPI).
