Owens Corning Unveils PINK Pipe Gel for Refrigeration Applications
The system includes FOAMULAR insulation, PITTWRAP 255 protective jacketing and vapor retarder, compatible PITTSEAL joint seal, and PINK Pipe Gel FG. The cost-effective and high-performing system is tested using performance-proven products from Owens Corning, a trusted name for reliability, technical, and customer support.
Owens Corning, a building products leader, launched PINK Pipe Gel FG (food grade), a breakthrough product that completes the FOAMULAR XPS Pipe Insulation System for ammonia refrigeration facilities used in food and beverage processing, and cold storage applications.

New PINK Pipe Gel is applied to the pipe as a corrosion inhibitor prior to the insulation and is engineered to reduce both labor demands and cleanup time. PINK Pipe Gel FG was designed for piping, tanks, vessels, and valve groups, making it ideal for food and beverage facilities and operations. Built to perform, the food-grade gel is FDA certified and maintains enhanced corrosion protection performance in temperatures ranging from -75° Fahrenheit to 300° Fahrenheit (-60°C to 150°C).
