Cavanna Packaging USA Inc., a subsidiary of Cavanna Packaging Group S.p.A., opened its North American headquarters operations. The 21,000-square-foot building, located at 2150 Northmont Parkway, Suite A in Duluth, Ga., represents the company’s efforts to expand its customer base and market share in North America.

“As an effort to continue to support our increasing customer base and to grow our market share, we have established a new operational facility in Duluth – Atlanta, Ga. In addition to providing our customers with a great technical support, we are pleased to provide complete wrapping machines and wrapping systems,” says Riccardo Cavanna, co-CEO.

Cavanna has been in the U.S. market for more than 30 years with 500-plus installations. The need to be closer to American customers to better serve them and the strategic importance of this market has meant that Cavanna has made the decision to be on the market with an assembly plant and construction of its packaging technologies. The grand opening also highlighted Cavanna Packaging USA’s year-end employment projection totaling 12 initial jobs.

This facility will complement the two manufacturing facilities in Italy as well as the Brazilian manufacturing facility.
