PRAB, Inc., Kalamazoo, Mich., said it purchased Triple/S Dynamics, Inc., a Dallas supplier of horizontal motion conveying systems, screening and separation equipment. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. PRAB is the parent to Hapman, a global manufacturer of conveyors and material handling equipment, providing solutions for the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, plastics, building and mineral industries.

Thompson noted that Triple/S is known for Slipstick® conveyors that handle hard-to-handle materials, particularly in the food processing market where the risk of material breakdown and damage is high.

PRAB officials said Triple/S employees, production, and operations will remain in Texas. They added that Triple/S current president and CEO Jeff Sullivan, will continue in his leadership role and all Triple/S product lines will be represented by their on-going network of independent sales offices.
