Organic Bistro announces national expansion
Organic Bistro Whole Life Meals, Scottsdale, Ariz., said it will announce the national rollout of its healthy and convenient frozen meal line at Natural Products Expo East in Boston. Parent company Callaway Consumer Products LLC has seen significant growth in sales and brand awareness of the product line since the meals were introduced in the West in 2006.
Callaway says natural grocery channel market data indicate that on a dollar sales velocity basis, Organic Bistro has five of the top 15 selling frozen complete-meal entrées.
Currently, Organic Bistro Whole Life Meals are available in over 650 natural, specialty and conventional retailers in the western U.S.
Organic Bistro Whole Life Meals will be available nationwide through natural foods distributors UNFI, Nature’s Best, Tree of Life, specialty distributors and by direct sale, the company said.
