Georiga-Pacific Packaging LLC, Atlanta, said it purchased ORBIS Container Services, Fresno, Calif., for an undisclosed amount from Menasha Corp. ORBIS supplies plastic reusable pallets, totes, dunnage and bulk container systems.
"Produce is an important market sector for Georgia-Pacific and this acquisition helps us capture more of the growing reusable plastic container (RPC) market," said Eric Frank, regional manager, RPC, at Georgia-Pacific.
Processing, conveying and optical sorting equipment supplier Key Technology Inc., Walla Walla, Wash., said it promoted Randy Unterseher to senior director of marketing.
